The research topics of this department are investigation on the local pharmaceutical compounds isolated from local resources of Iran, research on recombinant products production such as Calcitonin, nano-formulation of pharmaceutical products, setting up the technologies involve in production of enzymes, antibiotics, vitamins, probiotics and amino acids and other biological products with application in pharmaceutical and diagnosis industries in lab and semi-industries scales and scale-up design of production lines.
